Brooklyn police officers responded to a burglary call at an unoccupied three-family home on Ocean Parkway only to find eight abandoned Maltese mixes dressed in holiday sweaters.
Although they had sweaters on and someone left the cute pups food, the authorities took them to Animal Care. Three days after the pooches are medically cleared, the organization will start looking for loving homes for them.
If you are interested in adopting one of the dogs, call Animal Care and Control at 212-788-4000 and mention that you are interested in the pups brought in by the NYPD’s 61st precinct.
