What’s the world coming to if police officers are allowed to shoot our dogs whenever they please? In Parkersburg, West Virginia, Tiffany Hupp had to call the police over a fight that broke out between her father-in-law and a neighbor.
However, when West Virginia State Police entered Hupp’s yard, her dog (who was chained, by the way) started barking at one of the police officers, he panicked and immediately drew his gun and aimed at the dog. Hupp stepped between the two, in an attempt to protect her dog – the officer instantly threw her to the ground before arresting and charging her with obstruction.
What’s even sadder is that the officers never even checked what’s going on with the fight between her father-in-law and a neighbor. Hupp also claims that the two policemen rushed into the home and took everyone’s cell phones when they realized that the whole scene was recorded.
