It didn’t take agility competitors long to discover that the attributes of a golden retriever could also be used in agility training. Their high energy drive, readiness to work and biddability make them one of the top agility dogs in the world.

While most people teach their golden retrievers to be cuddly little babies, statistics prove that this breed definitely deserves a second look – golden retrievers can be found in the 20” and 24” divisions throughout the world. They compete and hold their own against other breeds that one might consider “the best agility dogs around.”
