Things like this truly break your heart. We can’t imagine who would be cruel enough to hurt an animal, let alone traumatize it to the extent that this is how it reacts to human contact. This poor little girl is terrified as her saviors approach her, most likely because any prior interaction she’s had with humans led to suffering.

Fortunately, dogs are incredibly forgiving animals, so she manages to calm down within a few minutes. After a time lapse at the end of the video, she’s shown completely rehabilitated and happy. If you notice animal cruelty in your area, don’t think twice before reporting it to the local authorities. No living being deserves to be abused, especially not a dog.
