If you like watching celebrity award shows such as the Golden Globes and Academy Awards and share a household with a furry friend, you are going to love the World Dog awards.

Many dogs work really hard during the year and they definitely deserve to have an award show. But, this is not any dog show. The World Dog Awards is a show that gives you the opportunity to see some amazing breeds combined with all the glamour of Hollywood.

The pawtastic show will be hosted by George Lopez, who gave his voice to Papi in Beverly Hills Chihuahua. The special, which will be filmed on Saturday, January 10^th, airs on January 15^th and lasts for two hours.

According to their official website, the World Dog Awards will honor pooches who have become famous in the world of entertainment or on social media, as well as ordinary pups who have changed the lives of their humans forever. Awards will be handed out for Best in Film, Top TV Dog, Dog of the Year and many, many more.
