Meet Paris, the golden retriever who was picked up in Texas by Brad Galbreath and his wife, Courtney.

At first they trained her to be a therapy dog, and after two years she was ready to be placed with a family who actually needed her services. Brad said “We thought we were doing something very admirable”.

However, after 10 long years, the Galbreath family got a call from the SPCA of Texas. They were both in shock to learn that Paris was one of the 72 animals taken from an Ellis County woman’s home. Apparently their owner is now facing serious charges of animal cruelty.

Thanks to Paris’ microchip, they were able to trace her original owners, and she got to be reunited with her original family in a heartwarming video you can see below.
