2. They are Known Escape Artists

Many a Shiba Inu owner has come home to find that their pet has climbed a fence or has dug under it in order to escape. Even dogs penned in covered runs have been known to dig underneath the chain link and crawl free. Shibas do well on a leash or secure in the home.
