2. Make Yourself the Alpha

Although small, your Yorkie will definitely want to be the boss. The first lesson she needs to learn is that you’re the alpha “dog” and that what you say goes. Establish this relationship by always being authoritative without physically hurting your dog to discipline her. Instead, use your feelings to convey your disapproval, and show plenty of praise when your dog behaves.
