22 Hypoallergenic Dog Breeds
9. Bichon Frise
The Bichon Frise is a very popular breed among children and families, because it’s cute like a little snowball and due to its small size it’s easy to keep even in smaller houses. Another reason why Bichons are popular is that they don’t cause allergies. Even children with asthma problems can relax around this dog, which doesn’t shed but requires careful grooming.
Bichon Frise’s coat is usually clipped to a short, puppy cut. Sometimes owners like to give them special cuts, like the round set of hair on the head resembling an afro.
Bichons are very social and love going out. They don’t require much exercise but they need to take frequent short walks. Training requires some patience, especially house training. These dogs thrive with a loving and patient owner. They are very outgoing, cheerful and, unfortunately for the neighbors, loud. They love to bark and will bark at any sound they deep suspicious.
