20. Australian Silky Terrier

This breed is a very close relative of the Yorkshire Terrier, so you are going to find a lot of the same qualities. They have a short and shiny coat and they hardly shed at all. Of course, they are hypoallergenic as well.

And just like the Yorkie, the Australian Silky is also very bold and courageous. These types of dogs will not back down from anything, even if they are challenged by a dog that is 10 times bigger than they are.

One warning though, these small terriers are not really the perfect fit if you have children. They are very small and incredibly fragile, so if you have small children that like to treat them like toys, they might get aggressive with them. There’s also a chance that small children could injure them.

But if you are living without children and you need a companion who is going to be constantly by your side, they are tremendous pets
