19. Yorkshire Terrier

If the main reason you are getting a hypoallergenic dog is because you want to cuddle with them without having to worry about your allergies, then a Yorkshire Terrier might be a great choice. These dogs have tons of personality, even though they are tiny.

And they really love affection. They will always try to sit on your lap, and when you’re not sitting down, there’s a good chance that they will be following you around the house all day. They are great with family members and good with strangers as well. However, they are not that good with other dogs. The Yorkshire Terrier tends to be pretty protective of you, and if you are interacting with another dog, they can get jealous and snap at the other dog.

But other than that, they are a joy to be around and unlike many other toy dogs, they are not very high maintenance at all.
