The age old argument – are dogs better than cats? And the answer is yes; yes they are. And here is why.

1. DOGS WILL PLAY WITH YOU

Playing around and having fun with your pet is one of the main reasons for getting one in the first place. Who wants a pet that just sits or lies around all day doing absolutely nothing? Unlike cats, dogs not only love playing with their owners, but they need it. They need it for exercise and to vent all that energy.

Playing with your dog is not just incredibly fun, it’s also a way for you to get off the couch and actually move around. There are all sorts of games dogs love playing, and they’ll happily go along with whatever game you prefer. You like playing catch? Perfect! Dogs love playing catch too. Feeling like a little game of hide and seek? Your dog will have a blast.

Cats do like to play sometimes, but it’s usually only when they feel like it, while dogs are up for fun and games pretty much all the time, you just need to say the word.
