3. Vizsla

The Vizsla is an almost criminally overlooked breed in the United States and it is far more popular in Europe. This breed originated in Hungary where it used to be companion fit for kings, especially when they went into nature, mostly for hunting.

The vizsla is an exceptionally athletic dog, with a lean, muscular body and long legs that allow it to cover great distances before getting winded. For those whose mountain bike rides take a long time, the Vizsla is the perfect buddy, always able to keep up with the tempo.

They are also very clever and obedient dogs and you will not have to be concerned about them losing their way and disappearing on you. Thanks to their short coat, they are also clean dogs and not a lot can get stuck on them as they cover the trails with you.
