More BS…early spay and neuter does harm. Wait until the dog is at least 2-3 yrs old if you do this. Feed a raw meat diet and don’t vaccinate. The dog will have amazing health and a much longer life; you’ll have almost no vet bills. Use natural vets instead not the conventional ones who are only indoctrinated by the pet food and vaccine companies. They know nothing about making animals healthy.

Observation tells me that most people with these breeds do not know enough to take care of them properly. I think breeders need to be more careful about the suitability of the homes they send their dogs to. On the other hand, I have never met a rescue dog who hasn’t been with superb owners. What can we learn from this? I am afraid we need to bring in regulation to stop breeders placing their own greed above dog welfare. There are not enough places in dog shelters for dogs that have been placed in unsuitable homes and then abandoned!

@angrypatriot5 there is no evidence to support your claim that early spay and neuter does any harm. waiting until a bitch comes into heat may increase her chance of mammary cancer later in life, but most importantly allows her the chance to become pregnant and produce a litter of pups, that quite frankly this world does not need. I work in a veterinary hospital and am sickened by the ignorance of human beings and their cavalier attitude to the over population of cats and dogs and their subsequent, unnecessary
    euthanasia
