4. Grouse the Springer Spaniel Survives a Flood and a Car Crash

8 year old Grouse was placed on a wall away from five feet of rushing water during a flood in Limerick city, Ireland. At some point, the spaniel disappeared and was not seen for two weeks.

Two witnesses watched a car hit a dog. They checked on the animal, who was surprisingly unhurt. They took him in and eventually figured out who he was and who he belonged to. Grouse was finally returned home after swimming through flood waters and surviving a car accident!
