2. Reward Good Behavior

When your dog obeys your commands, always give him a reward. This could be a food treat, verbal praise, some fuss or a play session. This reinforces good behavior and gives him an incentive to do as he’s told. Take cues from your own dog when it comes to choosing rewards, because some canines are food motivated, whereas other have little interest in treats and prefer a good romp.
