3. Check with ALL the owners of that breeder’s puppies

Okay, maybe not all. But don’t just go with the 2 or 3 names she gives you. Find out where all the puppies from the last 3 litters went and call all those owners. Have a list of questions to ask them about the puppies’ health, behavior, etc.
