Budweiser has launched a digital-only video Friday on their official YouTube channel as part of Anheuser-Busch’s 5th annual Global Be(er) Responsible Day.
Needless to say the video became an instant hit with almost 13 million views in only a couple of days.
Drunk driving has been responsible for the death of more than 10,000 people in 2012 alone. Since this is a major problem our society needs to deal with, Budweiser has come up with an idea to use a beautiful, worried-looking lab to help prevent driving under the influence. The creators wanted to use a sentimental tone in the campaign and they managed to touch the hearts of many.
The people behind the video encourage viewers to share the emotional video along with the hashtag #FriendsAreWaiting. Although the video does serve as a commercial for Budweiser products, it is a touching reminder that everyone suffers from drunk driving, including our beloved four-legged friends.
