5. Border Collies need to work
If you don’t give a Border Collie something to do, he will find something to do, and do everything possible to make sure you do it with him. They need a ton of exercise and social interaction every day whether it’s doing “chores” around the house or playing with the ball in the backyard, which not only keeps them engaged, but also out of trouble. Cats, however, are typically more interested in stretching out in a patch of sunshine.
