3. Seasons Eatings and Peas-on-Earth Cakes

Whether it’s during the holiday season or year round, your pup is going to love this recipe. It consists of several ingredients that are likely already in your pantry and fridge, including brown rice, chicken, and peas. Form them into little patties for easy serving.

Interesting that a prior article stated the worst human foods for dog (they did not include bacon and pork products) yet in making homemade dog food they are including these ingredients such as milk, cheese, bacon, boullion (SALT!!!), margarine (more salt, I don’t even eat margarine its so bad for you)…. hmmmm

Other than blithely listing some of the ingredients one might include while omitting prep instructions, no proportions, quantities or baking temperatures whatsoever, no actual recipes are presented in this silly slide show at all, not even one. Nice work, dogreference.com. Reminds me of Yahoo!

I was about to say the same thing! No amounts, no prep, no baking temp or time….no nothing.
If you’re going to write an article with “recipes”, it’s customary to include the stupid recipes! I really wanted to make some of the treats for my girls. I guess I have to “wing” it.
I won’t even be sarcastic and say “way to go”. They might think it’s a compliment!
And where is the contact button to get in touch with the writer or blogger or whoever?

Yes, thank you guys, I thought the same. I thought they are all recipes, as the head liner says clearly. It would make sense to include the actual recipe with the ingredients! I guess common sense and logic is not a great value here.

It is very important to educate dog owners about foods that are poisonous to dogs, but I found it really annoying to have to click to a new page for each food. Why not one page with a list, and use the other pages to provide additional information. If the list is on one page it could be printed out and posted on the refrigerator or elsewhere in the house. Oh dang, I’m on the wrong comments group.

You know.. we tell them how to change and make their sight more comprehensible, but will they make these changes? I will believe it when I see it.

ARE YOU COMPLETELY INSANE FOR LISTING SUCH HARMFUL FOOD RECIPES FOR DOGS AFTER THE DANGEROUS FOOD FOR DOG LIST! I THINK YOU NEED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT DOGS THEN YOU DO BAKING/COOKING! AND YES I NEEDED TO USE CAPS AS IT NEEDS SHOUTING ABOUT! I LOVE MY LITTLE CHIHUAHUA ALIVE TYVM,,,

  • Marah

HELLO? IS SOMEONE THERE?where are the recipes? just writing some ingredients is not giving recipes!

  • wendylj

Yep very disappointing that the amounts, cooking time and temp are not included. I’d be interested in making some of these recipes for my dog if all the info was included. Not very responsible of the site. wendylj
