6 Best Ways to Train Your Siberian Husky
Sanjay Deva / Bigstock
Some will tell you that Siberian Huskies are impossible to train, simply because they are too smart for their own good. Sure, they are escape artists, and they can open doors, cupboards, and drawers, but that does not mean you can’t train them to be wonderful companions.
1. Run Next to a Bike
Even if you are a runner, you will likely never tire out your Husky. Bikejoring is ideal! Begin by getting him used to being around the bike first, as wheels can spook some dogs. When he is comfortable, hook him up to a Springer, Walky Dog, or other compatible product. Never attempt to hold a leash and the handlebars. Start first by walking the bike before you ride, and don’t get up to top speeds until you are comfortable stopping with him.
