2. English Bulldog

Most of us have this picture of an English bulldog as the elderly statesman who is only too happy to be lying around, lazing the days away. And in reality, English bulldogs are definitely among the calmest dog breeds around, and you know what that means? That means that they are also one of the best breeds to travel with.

They are particularly great for traveling by car since they will not mind at all sitting and lying in the back seat for hours on end. They will not bark, they will not get restless and they will allow the travel to go at its own pace. If you plan on traveling by plane, they might not be the best choice since they are brachycephalic dogs and they can have troubles breathing at high altitudes.
